Business process automation for performance automation

Most smart are constantly looking for ways to increase profits by optimizing operations. Digital automation of the processes can go a long way in this. At The Web Plant, our goal is to get a deep understanding of your business processes and derive key action points that will lead to the adoption of high efficiency digital solutions. To achieve this, we evaluate  three fundamental aspects of businesses:

  1.  Internal processes - Employees, vendors and all processes in place to deliver the core products and services
  2.  External customers - The current and potential users that we track throughout their journey
  3.  The market - Industry standards and trends that are being adopted or challenged

In summary, we are asking the most fundamental question - "Why are things being done in a certain way?"
It's not an easy exercise, but is very empowering

1 - Improving without process re-engineering
Can you create a better customer experience by updating the work process? Yes! This is the case of that many of our customers have used to revolutionize their customer experience. They have used existing data of customers to deliver better experience.
Pitfall to avoid: Sometimes we think we must reinvent the wheel to improve our business process. We don't always have to re-engineer the whole process but to make targeted and result driven changes without having to re-engineer a process

2 - Challenging the status quo
Raising the bar by challenging established process that we know are pain point for end customer.
Pitfall to avoid: having preconceived notions that a technology solution is not appropriate for our industry's processes.

3 - Going beyond urgent needs
Sometimes, the urgent need hide the less urgent but important needs. For example, a growing community of small business owners requested us to find a solution to quickly meet the needs of data management. As we investigated, we realized that they would need a more permanent solution to avoid such immediately buring concerns in future. So, in addition to providing an immediate & temporary measures, we implemented a long term process automation.
Pitfall to avoid: Ignoring the root level problems in favour of the most immediate ones.

4 - Spotting the exciting but less effective idea
Technology is a tool to drive your process and is not a replacement for a good process. For example, an interior designer firm that submits poor layout plans to designers will not get far with latest gadgets and apps.
Pitfall to avoid: Jumping on to a "Latest technology" solution without understanding the problem at root level

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

  1.  To find the right solution, one must find the source of the challenge or problem within the current process. There are many ways to improve a business processes. How do you find your way? We believe that our approach based on the sum of the data collected on your internal processes, the analysis of your external stakeholders and your market will allow you to choose the most efficient and profitable technological solution.
  2.  Focus on the most profitable customers. If, 30% of your customers generate about 70% of your profits,  it's important to know which customers are the most profitable for you, and which you'll benefit from focusing on. By doing so, you will stop wasting valuable time with customers who do not buy (or buy too little) of your products.
